The Efficient Person

In the words of DTE, I want to be my own efficient person.

In the fast food generation of immediate satisfaction guaranteed, some of the simpler American virtues have been lost.  Many times I find myself to be overly annoyed with waiting.  I have come to take for granted things that just come to me.  It used to be that if you wanted to see a baseball game you actually had to go to the park.  Microwave dinners did not exist. I know this may sound preachy, but I’m not turning Amish.  I like Taco Bell and cable, I just want to challenge myself to be more like the farmer.  Early to bed, early to rise.  I want to stay focused so I’m not cheating myself in the long run.  It is easy to sit on your ass an watch TV, instead of working on something positive and productive, so if you ever see me whining about the remote control not working could you give me a swift kick in the ass?
