California Wants You

What the hell is this?  These TV ads have been bothering me for awhile.

Does California really need to advertise itself to residents of other states?  Are they really that hungry for more people.  I thought LA already had the worst traffic in history.  Are there Michigan ads playing in California, trying to lure all the fun loving good looking people here?  Why? Why? Why are they trying to steal people away from my beloved home?  Tons of my friends have already moved away, and they want to take more? Greedy SOB’s it seems to me.  I mean, honestly, one state advertising against another state?  This is weird to me.  Aren’t we in this together?  Besides, why would you want to leave Michigan and a FRESH WATER coast, to go to a state that A. isn’t even a penninsula, and B. might fall off into the ocean.  I don’t care that they have better skiing and the Terminator.  Just the mere fact that they are advertising makes them look needy.  The Paris Hilton of the States, right?  Shameless self promoters.

Nothing against California, I mean Tank is from California (SOG shout out!), but maybe try internet marketing, you’ll appeal to a younger demographic.  Does California have a twitter account?
